When emailing the hotel, make sure to include within the subject “Sarah & Chris’s Wedding”. This will ensure room assignments will be honoured where possible.
We have listed some favourite places below if you decide to have a pre or post wedding holiday;
• Tropea
• Capo Vaticano
• Pizzo
• Diamante
• Maratea
• Matera
• Amalfi Coast
• Cilento Coast
• Pompei
• Caserta
• Gaeta
Caution: don’t have too much fun or we will have severe FOMO.
“When should we arrive?”
The festivities begin on Friday evening. We recommend arriving Friday afternoon so you have plenty of time to check into your accommodation, unpack and prepare the body for a weekend of celebration.
“Are kids allowed to come?”
Absolutely fucking not. All joking aside, we would prefer everyone to be relinquished of parental duties, but if there are any issues please let us know.
“Do we need to hire a car?”
Short answer, yes. Enjoy the scenic drive!
However, if this isn’t possible for you, please let us know well in advance. We will try to coordinate airport and flight times so you can share transport with other guests.
“Are their alternative accommodation options?”
We have arranged for all guests to stay on site at Serragiumenta.
However, you are welcome to stay somewhere else nearby, but transport to and from the venue will need to be organised by yourself. If you would like to stay elsewhere, please let us know as soon as possible.
“What is the schedule and dress code for the weekend?”
Friday night is the “Welcome Party”. Cocktail/Casual is the dress code.
Saturday is the Big Day. We want everyone looking and feeling their absolute best! The dress code is formal, but we encourage artistic flare and colours.
You’re welcome to lean into the Italian style or Scottish attire. Just don’t outshine the Bride and Groom. 😉
“Where can I send a wedding gift?”
Since we are celebrating away from home, we kindly ask that no physical gifts be brought to the venue (we won’t have space in our suitcases!). Having you celebrate with us in paradise is more than enough. However, if you would still like to honour us with a gift, you can contribute digitally to our honeymoon fund here.
